Day Four

Ah good morning!
We're heading to the library today because they have books for $.25 and I love books so of course I have to go check it out.

I found 6 terrific books and can't wait to read them. I like books that tug at the heart strings or end in sudden unexpected death. so I'm hoping these ones are to that quality. I tend to read more beach reads because they are just so much faster and harder to put down. This libary was the cutest little place ever and was actually busier than I had anticipated.

On our way to go thrifting! My Aunt Mary and Grandma love to thrift so my mom and I are along for the ride.... The thift store is HUGE and there is soooo much stuff. I found a cool stamp decanter bottle thing from Avon that looks like an antique but would be so cute as a condo decoration. I also found a gold pot type of thing that will look super good in my room( my accent is gold).

Apparently this thift store is connected to another thrift store that sells clothes and what have you. So we're making a stop there too. I found go go boots so of course I have to get them because Halloween will be here before I know it.

I've been trying to befriend my Aunts dog TG  for the last couple days and she just doesn't like me. Though I did go for a run with her and she seemed to enjoy it.

I MADE THEE BEST STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE๐Ÿ“ I was very impressed with myself because it was totally wife material.๐Ÿ‘ธ๐Ÿฝ

Day Three

Goodbye New Mexico!
I drove alllll the way today so didn't write on the way. So let me recall events from today.

I'm a super fan of speed limits higher than 70. Baby autobahn! Haha okay so maybe not really, but much faster than Indiana speed limits.

Grams had 3 cups of coffee for breakfast so we had to stop 17186 times๐Ÿ˜‚ as in had to stop 30 minutes after we got going.

Albuquerque was very city like. Yay for more than 2 lanes of highway. We drove by the university of New Mexixo along Route 66 it was a cute little college town. But Route 66 is soooo overrated. It's nothing like Cars at all. I wanted to see Lightning McQueen and Mater. Bummer.

STATE LINE
I'M HOME☀️๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ
Finally we made it here. I did all the driving today and got a mad leg cramp in my thigh because sitting for 9 hours is not normal. No worries though I stretched it out.

There was a horse size deer type thing on the side of the road. It was HUGE. I wonder what the car that hit it looked like
because dang. Flag has tons of trees too.

Fun fact from the Georgia man at the rest area "snakes only come out at night"
Not sure who taught him that but I'm sure it's less than accurate. He didn't get bit nor did his dog .

We're visiting with my Aunt Mary for a couple days then I'll be HOME
SWEET HOME.

I had the best root beer ever known to man today & I don't even like pop. It had vanilla and other stuff but was kind of like a mixture between root beer and cream soda.

Though the "road trip" is over I'll keep updating posts until my family leaves because I'm sure it will be an adventure.

Day Two

I now remember why I don't like road trips. How is sitting for multiple hours enjoyable. ARE WE THERE YET. We woke up at the butt crack of dawn and have 10ish or so hours until we stop again. I'm impressed with Kingsley, she's getting about 37mpg๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ great investment I made.

The license plate game is going well we have 36/48 states crossed off & 2 bonus plates Alaska and DC.

Oklahoma didn't have a welcome sign and I'm kind of mad at them for it. BOO YOU OKLAHOMA. It is also so freaking hilly here. We're almost in Texas and I think I hate Texas more than Oklahoma.๐Ÿ˜‚ ohhh! There has been so much construction it's unbelievable... *right lane closed* has been a reoccurring sign for like last 12 hours of this trip.

Amarillo has two snapchat stickers! THANK YOU SNAPCHAT. Enjoy these fantablous pictures of me ft. the lovely stickers.

HELLO NEW MEXICO. you smell like rain as in 5 drops of rain. Yay for being back in the desert. 100 degrees and I need sun ☀️ I don't know why I use emojis because you can't see what they are lmao.

EW we stopped at a hotel in BFE and it was nasty. I hated it & we left because that was a 1 star. I miss the Heritage sad day. BUT! no worries we found another place to stay THANK GOD. New Mexico is not my favorite. This town has no food like literally zero places to go so dinner consisted of $30 of crap at the gas station... & a moldy lunchable.

Fambam is watching the bachelorette so excuse me while I suffocate myself with a pillow.

Day One

OFF TO ARIZONA WE GO!
I'm sad about leaving my grandpa and Fleece, but I'll see them soon! Kingsley is packed to the max and I'm not sure how everything fits but we're making it work.

We stopped in Casey, Illinois to see the worlds biggest everything.๐Ÿ˜‚ The worlds biggest golf tee, world's biggest wind chime, and worlds biggest knitting needles. The golf tee was pretty cool! The lady there was very nice too.

I sat in the back seat and it was hot as balls. SOS save me. I'm kind of mad at St. Louis for not having a snapchat sticker. What kind of city is that. & The arch was looking pretty archy.

We finally made it to Arkansas... Cross that off my list! We're staying in a town where Walmart is headquartered. We're waking up at the butt crack of dawn so good night lovely earthlings
